I ran into Filip on the riverfront and told him I'd come to his class even though such things have been humiliating for me in the past. What is the point if not to be humiliated moment after moment?

These are intriquing, Sal. Make me think about connection, isolation -- deep inner-sense and how that touches community. I hear touches of John Berryman: 'singing here alone would carry over,' 'why not am gone down now with loneliness.'
