Dear Friends, This week I invoke the wrathful deity of the mother to crush the enemies of the nation. Last week I was thinking of care, protection, and preservation as ways of responding to this moment. Even a few days later, my mood has changed.
Thanks for this! So refreshing to feel the wrath of Kali directed toward these pimply boys running amok. I just wish there were not so many of us vulnerable to the side effects of their hungry ghost schemes.
I see a lot of people talking about how we need to step back and rest and take time and nourish ourselves and find joy which I completely agree with... but...we also need righteous anger!! And a lot of it. Anger that draws from something older than deeper than individuals. Anger born out of love. This perfectly expresses the kind of medicinal, motherly rage we need to invoke. I love this post.
I've got a Kurukulla thangka at home--inherited from my ex who passed on. It's a little scary. But time to unroll it and put it back on the wall. 🙏
I might need on in my house too!

Yes, for sure. Their suffering becomes our suffering.
Wow, powerful!
Thank you, Inés!

If we can’t freely feel anger and sorrow, it becomes difficult to freely feel joy.
Thank you, Sal! I needed this, too. I can take these images with me. 💕
Big love going your way.
That’s my mama 🔥❤️🔥
